Description

During COVID 19 some additional items to note before booking. We do ask for your continued patience and participation during this incredibly difficult time and look forward to providing you a safe and clean space to enjoy while following some new procedures, which we understand can be an inconvenience to you.
*Before entrance to property check-in and check-out*
  1. Only 2 adults and property manager may enter the property to conduct check-in or check-out.
  2. Prior to entrance into the property. All Occupants must submit to NON-TOUCH forehead thermometer reading, wear a face mask covering nose/mouth, and hands must be sterilized with hand sanitizer. Occupants to supply their own sanitizer and masks. The property manager will supply a NON TOUCH thermometer.
  3. Any Occupant who has a temperature of 99* or lower may enter and occupy per the terms of your Vacation Rental Agreement. Any Occupant who shows signs of COVID 19 or has a temperature may not occupy the property or enter the property. No exceptions!
  4. Refusal to comply with thermometer reading, wearing of face masks covering nose/mouth, and sanitizing hands will automatically void entrance to property, and Property Owner may VOID your Vacation Rental Agreement and refuse entry and occupancy of the property.
  5. All Occupants should monitor their health and temperature(s) before coming to Vacation Rental to ensure the safety of others and ensure Occupancy.
*Cleaning Kitchen, Bathrooms and High Touch Surfaces*
All glassware, kitchenware, cookware, silverware, china, and all high touch surfaces such as counters, doorknobs, slider door handles and exterior furnishings will be cleaned with a product containing one of the following ingredients (alcohol, bleach, degreasing soap) depending on the surface.
*Cleaning of Bedding, Pillows & Fabric Couches*
All  Bedding, Pillows & Fabric Couches be sprayed with antibacterial spray a minimum of 24 hours prior to your occupancy.
*Cleaning Crew*
There will be a minimum 24 hour period between all Guest CHECK-OUTS and cleaning services and a minimum 24 hour period between any cleaning service and any new Guest CHECK-INS.
*Guest Stay Requirements*
Due to CV19 we are unable to maintain mid-stage cleans and as a result of new procedures we are now requiring all Occupants to the following during your stay and at check-out.
  1. Occupant(s) must empty all rubbish into trash receptacle daily to avoid insect infestation. 2 Recyclable waste bins are in pull out drawer. 1 composting bin located on the kitchen counter. Compost items are (coffee grounds, eggshells, any organic meats cooked or uncooked, plant items, and rinds).
  2. Occupant to maintain entire interior and exterior spaces keeping all areas clean. Underneath each bathroom and kitchen sink will be disinfectant spray for porcelain surfaces. The property owner will provide 1 fresh microfiber cloth for each day of your stay to wipe such areas.
  3. Vacuum and Swiffers are located in the garage on the hook. Please feel free to use it.
  4. At the time of check-out Occupants must clean all dishes, glasses, and cookware in the dishwasher using the sanitizing cycle and return all items back to their original places. (except cast iron cookware and steak or cooking knives)
  5. At the time of check-out Occupants must strip beds and pile sheets on top of the bed. Towels (if wet) must be hung up to dry to avoid mildewing.

Intimate and cozy vignettes designed with a blend of comfortable MCM and period pieces, luxurious bedding and linens with special attention paid to quality memory foam beds and varying quality pillow choices (soft/med/firm) in all bedrooms, fully stocked kitchen with every possible gadget a home-chef would appreciate – including a Jura Espresso Machine w/ frother (beans included).

Items provided inclusive of rental: Pureology Shampoo & Conditioner, body wash, Mrs. Meyers hand soap and lotion, Death Wish Coffee Beans, Tea, and sunscreens.

Located in the Tahquitz River Estates area which is convenient to downtown featuring 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with 2447 Sq. Ft. +/- interior space and 10,000 Sq. Ft. +/- exterior space.

1. No Parties, Events or Filming/Shoots allowed unless approved in writing by Property Owner, and all requirements are submitted/approved in writing/separate and additional fees will apply.

2. No unauthorized guests without written pre-approval from Property Owner.

3. Booking Requirements – all Occupants must provide Color ID/Passport scans (overnight and visiting/non-overnight), must sign Waiver of Liability.

4. Maximum 3 cars allowed on property / per rental and must provide plates.

5. Primary Occupant must sign a Property Owners Vacation Rental Agreement with Property Disclosures.

6. Standard Check-In Time @ 4:00 PM / Check-Out @ NOON / Early Check-In allowed if available free of charge.

7. Late Check-Outs subject to availability and must be approved in writing by Property Owners and you agree to the following fees: 12:30~5:00P – $450.00

8. All persons must be 25 years or older unless accompanied by an adult or legally authorized supervising adult.

9. Max Authorized Over-night Occupants = Eight (8). TWO (2) DAYTIME GUEST ARE ALLOWED. Ten (10) PERSONS TOTAL INCLUDING REGISTERED OVERNIGHT GUESTS REGARDLESS OF AGE MAY BE ON PROPERTY ONLY WITH PROPERTY OWNER APPROVAL IN WRITING, Due to neighbor/noise issues, people other than those in the Vacation Rental Agreement may not enter the property without written authorization from Property Owner.

10. Palm Springs Occupancy Tax of 11.5% & TBID of 1% is included in the rental for all bookings 30 days or less.

11. iLikeEich is privately owned. Occupants/Guests/Licensees personal property, including vehicles are not insured by homeowners against loss or damage due to fire, theft, vandalism, rain, water, criminal negligent acts of others, or any other cause. The homeowner does not insure against personal injury to occupants or guests due to any reason other than the condition of the premises. It is recommended that Guest carry or obtain traveler’s insurance to protect occupants, guests, and personal property from any loss or damage. Guest agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Homeowner from all claims, disputes, litigation, judgments, costs and attorney fees resulting from loss, damage or injury to Guest, occupant’s guest or their personal property. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.

12. No minor children are allowed on the property or in pool/spa without adult supervision at ALL times.

13. Keep the property and all furnishings in good order. If you move any furniture, please move it back before leaving.

14. An inventory of all household items is conducted following each check-out and Guest will be charged for any missing items. Breakages, if reported, will be handled with a lot more forgiveness.

15. The fireplace and firepit are both gas and not wood burning. Please do not load any combustible items in the firebox/pit. Do not leave the fire unattended. Close fires before going to bed or leaving the house.

16. The house is on a public sewer system. Do not flush anything other than toilet paper. Please place all vegetable peels in the trash rather than the garbage disposal.

17. Situated in the low desert, electricity is not always as reliable as in other cities. There are occasional power outages. In the event of any short term or extended power outage, call the Homeowner or emergency contact numbers provided in the information book. Homeowner is not responsible for power outages or failure of equipment.

18. WILDLIFE: Because we do not allow pets of any kind at iLikeEich, it is home to many wild birds and animals including large wild cats that prey on domesticated pets . Please do not feed them or allow them to come into the house. It is common to see bobcats, coyotes in and around the streets near heal of the San Jacinto Mtns.

19. NO SPECIAL EVENTS OR PARTIES: iLikeEich is located on a 10,000 sq. ft. lot in a peaceful and serene area. Please be respectful of neighbors relative to any loud noise and music. iLikeEich cannot accommodate group events.

20. Guests are to securely close and lock all doors and windows upon departure. Turn off coffee maker and appliances. Turn off electric wall heaters. Check for running water, Running toilets and empty trash into receptacles before leaving.

21. The Guest’s Security Deposit is fully refundable if the house is left clean and undamaged. Refunds will be made within 14 days after check-out.

22. STORM/ ACTS Of GOD/ IN EVENT OF FORCE MAJEURE POLICY: STORM/ ACTS Of GOD/ IN EVENT OF FORCE MAJEURE POLICY: No refunds can be given for any events including but not limited to: storms, acts of God, bad weather, power outages, streaming video content becomes unavailable, WIFI goes down or neighboring construction noise.

23. A. Stays 7 days or longer require mid stay cleans at the cost of $250.00. If your booking request is longer than 7 days we will need to revise your quote and resend for your review and payment. B. Daily cleans are available and need to be requested in advance so we can coordinate with crew. daily cleans are $100.00 and will require a revised quote be sent for review/payment. C. Should the property be left in poor/excessively bad/dirty/soiled condition that requires cleaning crew to stay beyond their contracted 4 hour check out clean; an extra cleaning fee will be deducted from your Security Deposit at time of check out at a rate of $350.00 min with an additional $50.00 each additional or fraction of an hour after 1st 2.5 hours of overtime.
WRITTEN EXCEPTIONS: Any exceptions to the above rules and policies must be approved by owner in advance.

Our stay was absolutely fabulous! The house is gorgeous, clean and stylishly decorated. It is fully equipped with all the kitchen utensils you could need, plenty of towels, robes and even hats and sunscreen to use by the pool. They've thought of everything and make the stay not only effortless but very enjoyable. Highly, highly recommend!

We loved this home and the wonderful people who made our stay so easy. The home is even nicer than the pictures suggest and the team of people were on call 24/7 and incredibly helpful. We can't wait to return!

What a beautiful home! Tastefully modern but very much mid-century, this house is relaxing, luxurious and fun. It's newly renovated with an expert's touch from the furnishings to fixtures to art - all in a fabulous MCM vibe. The only thing from the 80s is the record collection - and I say that in a good way! We had a wonderful time here - very convenient to main drag Palm Springs, easy to find, and Lee B. was a knowledgeable and gracious manager. Only regret was the cold weather - we didn't get a chance to enjoy the pool and spa. We'll have to return in the summer for another chance.

Treated the kids and grand-kids to Thanksgiving at this lovely home. Classic PS home designed around an open central courtyard; with ample space and natural light. The home has a superb blend of old world charm, a well equipped kitchen, outdoor entertaining space and modern electronic conveniences (flatscreens, Sonos, Alexis & more). The hosts have clearly devoted careful thought to the comfort and convenience of their guests.

We had a great vacation in this house. The house is beautiful, cozy and wonderfully decorated. We also had a lot of great outside in the pool. The owners/property manager and cleaning staff were all fantastic to work with and incredibly responsive. Highly recommended!

This is a beautiful mid-century home with all the amenities you could ever ask for. Great pool, well-stocked kitchen, interesting books to peruse, wonderful sound system, and comfortable beds in every room. The open beam design is beautiful, with large glass windows in the back showcasing the pool and the mountains. The location is close to downtown and only a couple blocks from a main drag, yet set back far enough in a neighborhood to be very quiet and private. In 5-10 minutes you can drive downtown (20-30 minute walk) or in a couple minutes you can access great hiking (go to the west end of Ramon Road for a steep hike with a beautiful view of the area). You won't be disappointed!

Our stay in Palm Springs was absolutely perfect! the home is so nice, very quiet and private and despite it being 100 degrees, we were close enough to the downtown area for us to walk pretty much anywhere we wanted to go.

House is wonderful: clean, very stylish and very comfortable for a big group. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We even had a turn-down service during our stay which was greatly appreciated.

Why Tim & Reuben Like iLikeEiCH

There are quite a few reasons why we love this house so much. First and foremost, this home has so much drama and emotion for us, that we immediately felt a connection to the house and could see ourselves living there. From every vantage point we had, we could see amazing architectural details ranging from high ceilings, transoms, Fleetwood sliders, centralized atrium, sensitive refinements to the kitchen and bath areas. All these amazing details truly sung to us. With each step we took advancing through the house we could feel each other's energy and excitement which, was hard to contain at moments. The house made us giddy and we hadn't really realized the impact this house had on us until we both walked out and said, we need to go back in and see it again. Usually, Tim isn't good for a 2nd tour however, this time he was more than excited and willing. We went back in this time with a more scrutinizing eye, looking for problems as to why this house could never work for us. Again, our excitement couldn't be contained so we started talking about buying it. Buying a house didn't make any sense at all, at the moment. We truly weren't in the market however, we knew we had to make a move on this house because it was truly special and checked every box with us in as far as wants, needs, design, form and function. We submitted our offer that same day and had an acceptance that afternoon.

This home is very special to us in so many ways. We are connected to this house heart and soul. We love spending time at iLikeEiCH and get to the the desert as often as we can. We often times walk the rooms looking at the light and how it changes the perspective, at different times of the day. So as you can see, this home has demanded our attention from the very beginning. We're just so glad we can call it our own and share this beautiful space with other admirers.
