Enjoy an apple in The Big Apple
Autumn; such a lovely time to wrap up in a cozy blanket or walk around an apple orchard and enjoy the changing leaves. This week we are focusing on New York City, with all the hustle and bustle of the city it is nice to sit back and enjoy the company of others. In NYC it can be hard to find time or space to enjoy the Autumn season but do not worry, there are many festivals near and around to conquer that fall craving!
Enjoy an apple in the Big Apple. That’s right, New York City is currently holding Cider Week, celebrated vineyards and apple farms are showcasing their best apple ciders and apple wines. Travel all around Brooklyn, Queens, and even Manhattan in search for the perfect cider that tickles your taste buds. Act fast because this event is only October 20th– 29th.
If fall just isn’t really your thing in NYC and can’t wait to start the holidays it is the perfect time to head out to Bryant Park. Starting October 28, the winter village in Bryant Park will be open. Not only can you find free ice-skating on the huge outdoor ice rink. You can also shop, eat, and be jolly while strolling through more that 125 holiday shops and eateries. There is also a rink-side pop-up restaurant open from 8am-10pm, in case you get the munchies while skating. See below video clip for more information:
